    Ms. Baik is originally from Seoul, South Korea. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in psychology from University of Idaho and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from BGSU. Although she attempts to integrate various types of psychotherapy, her primary therapy approach is deeply oriented from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She values and emphasizes mindfulness and acceptance in her therapy work and everyday life. Currently, Kyoung is conducting an intervention study for insomnia and hopes to make contributions to the field. Kyoung is deeply passionate about many social and psychological issues and phenomena and some of them include providing sound psychological services to diverse population (e.g., ethnic minorities, LGBT, different SES groups, and etc.).

  • Scott Bischoff, M.S.

    Mr. Bischoff is currently a psychology intern at the BGSU Counseling Center, and is completing his doctorate in counseling psychology through Ball State University. He received his master’s degree from IUPUI and has worked as a licensed mental health counselor in Indiana. He has previously worked with individuals who have experienced trauma and abuse, addictions issues, anxiety and depression disorders, and severe mental illness. Other areas of interest include grief and loss, therapist self-care, and mindfulness.

    Laura Briscoe hails from western Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She went on to receive her Masters of Science degree at Oklahoma State University, and she is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the institution. Throughout her training, she has obtained clinical experience working with older adolescents, college students, and adult community members. Laura has served within counseling, instructional, mentor, and supervisory capacities in the university setting. She enjoys working with undergraduate and graduate students and is currently a doctoral intern at the BGSU Counseling Center. She has special clinical and research interest in multiculturalism/diversity, gender and gender role identity, women’s issues, relational development, and underrepresented student populations.
